• A large portion of our practice focuses upon Construction Accidents, in which we fight to obtain settlements for injured construction workers who fall from ladders, scaffolds, roofs or are otherwise injured on the worksite. We use a special provision of New York State Labor Law (Section 240) to fight for a settlement for them IN ADDITION to their Workers’ Compensation benefits.

One year, when five students tied for the four available scholarships, Mr. Ellis decided to increase the scholarship fund from $10,000 to $12,500 to insure that each of the five students received a $2,500 award.

• As further evidence of our commitment to this important cause, we have hired a former Police Chief and teacher, William R. Pomeroy, as our “Stop-DWI Director”. Bill utilizes his immense skills and vast experience to coordinate our efforts to do our part to help eliminate drunk driving. We donate money to MADD, SADD and other Anti-DWI organizations and have received letters from them praising our efforts to help stop drunk driving.
